    1. We know that mean of the 5 numbers is 18. Therefore, their sum is going to be 18*5=90.
      When one number is excluded, the mean of the remaining 4 numbers comes out to be 16 and therefore, we get the sum of the remaining numbers as 16*4=64.
      Thus, the excluded number is 90-64=26.
